the same? as far as i know the only thing me and freeplay have in common is that wii both aren't big fans of nintendo (pun was intended)

But this "broader market" Nintendo is trying to attain is exactly what will be their downfall. With a name like "Wii", it's not going to attract good attention, just negative. Nintendo needs to realize that they have to correctly market to countries besides Japan. The world as a whole does not accept the "symbolic meanings", and just tosses them to the side as many of our forum members have done.
