i wouldn't know ive never played one cos i refuse to pay a subscription to play a game that could potentially be terrible and i could get bored 3 hours into and not play it for the month payed for. Might just be me but I don't like the idea of paying to play a game after you've already payed to buy it.

Now then MMORacing on the other hand is looking like its gonna pwn. I played the Test Drive Unlimited demo and nearly wet my pants it was so fun. If they charge a subscription tho they can keep there game, I wont be getting it.

Racing games tend not to charge a subscription. Subscriptions are charged so that the companies can keep on supporting the game and adding new content. Needed more in an RPG, and less in racing/FPS games.

Completely justified. In March I paid a 2-month subscription after a free trial to a game called ROSE Online. It was fun sure, which is why i signed up. Then it started to get boring, then it started to suck, then it became horrible. Money in the trash...

I wont even LOOK at any more MMORPGS unless they are free

It also pays for the dedicated servers that are needed so its possible that they could charge for it. I'd be surprised if they did tho as people expect it with mmorpg but they dont with anything else. and racing games get updates too (or they have done on 360 anyway) usually just car packs tho.
