o cmon how the hell am i supposed to know but its proeably a button by their name or u have to go into admin cp, search and find the person by name and put them in the banned usergroup

admin cp? Im a super mod(I was temp admin and created this group exclusive to people of my choice)....I tried the button thing, and there aint no button

3. From the onscreen prompts to ban either or both of a specific user or an individual or range of IP addresses or hostnames. These methods prevent a user from even reaching the index page of your board. To prevent a user from registering under a different username you can also specify a banned email address. Please note that banning an email address alone will not prevent that user from being able to log on or post to your board. You should use one of the first two methods to achieve this.

i dont have access to the admin cp, thats the problem

Than you can't ban people.
Unless the admin puts in some sort of mod that enables moderators to ban.

Duh...Im a phpbb88 admin vet, I did everything I wanted to do and change about the forums in 5 minutes...even though I did try very hard to try getting the shop to work, I think only ther owner of the domain(the real "administrator", macca) can do it though
Im surprised that peopel are callnig me a noob, just because I don't have access to the admin control panel, king****, can u fix this, and only let us have access to the ban control area?

Here's how it works:
When I was admin, I made a closed group that can only be joined from an invite from the leader of the group, quickly I made myself leader, I made the group have moderator control powers over the whole forums. I can add peopel to this group anytime I want by inviting them cuz im group leader, thus if they become part of the group, they have moderator powers, and they become a moderator. See, im not a phpbb noob...im 1 smart admin
