Ugh this is annoying...

My dads computer has just been randomly turning off for no reason... then we noticed whenever we put a little bit of load on his CPU that you could hear the fans dramatically slow down, so we did a little test of different thing and sure enough it turned off.

We figured it must be draining too much power from his 300w PSU

So then he said "Hey you have a 500w power supply dont you? Ill just use yours and that should give power enough for it"

So thinking ill just take it easy on my power consumption i agreed and swapped power supplies with him.

Sure enough his computer works fine and it hasnt reset for about an hour now but my computer being a nice new one needs the ATX 4pin power plug in it to turn on -_-" His power supply doesnt have one on it so now im stuck on a 1.00ghz laptop with 128mb of ram... Vslow compared to a 3200+ AMD 64 with 1gb of ram...

Hows evry1 elses night?
