Sorry to dissapoint you all, but your actions are useless and we will not lift youresam's ban - nor anyone else who was banned recently - they all broke rules, whether they were known rules or unspoken rules. OK. While it's true that giving youresam a ban was justified, a ONE MONTH BAN is not. How can you justify it when your history of banning people who ACTUALLY impersonated moderators was less? Youresam might have "abused" the titles, but why didn't ANYONE TELL HIM TO STOP? It's been done before by people and they haven't gotten banned. Yet this time you feel so inclined to blow it out of proportion and give him a whole month ban. Without any warning. At all.

I have sneaking suspicion that some of the moderating staff may perhaps be jealous of all youresam's many accomplishments.

In life, if you threaten someone saying you will kill them - the authorties do not take that as a "joke", and we will not take youresam's actions as such either. I do believe that a month is harsh as less was given to an impersonator of an admin (myself) - as a result, I will review the situation and most likely lower the ban to be equal with the impersanator, and/or less.

However, the actions by a few of you are outrageous and will not be tolerated. There's a proper method with dealing with bans, so I suggest everyone read our policies again...

Umm...youresam never threatened to kill anyone.

In fact, people do what youresam did in real life all the time. Have you ever seen someone in school on a desk or something write "[Johnny Smith] was here." using someone else's name? Does that person ever get in trouble? Now let's say someone hacked into Johnny Smith's email account and sent emails to all the teachers saying they sucked. Would they get in trouble then?

You have to compare equal situations.
