If you havent updated the dashboard then you can install Linux on it and also change the DVD/Game region. This is done through a Hypervisor hack using King Kong, this was patched in a dashboard update before the hackers even discovered it so the chances of having/getting a 360 that can do it are slim and none.
And all 360's except ones with the BenQ DVD Drive can be flashed to play backups.
Cool, ITs too mad you can't run linux on it without modding it...
ps3 is getting more tempting...

Could be a Windows update blocking it or some software firewall or something.
It's not the firewall because I have disabled it and it still doesn't do anything. Besides the I'm only using the microsoft firewall and it's suppose to automatically work with it. Oh well, I'm done with this for now :(Zitat:
