It's not as bad as you think. The day I turned 18 I got kicked out of my house. I lived in a tent near the Burlington, MA mall. Well theres a area of woods that wasnt watched. So I lived there about a week or so, going to to the mall every day for free samples or catching a bus to Boston.

It's just that to really live life, there has to be obstacles. Without the threat of death or worthlessness then there really isn't any reason to live now is there? Living on the streets really taught me a few things, like how to get money (enough for bus and subway fair anyway) and where to get free food (any fast food place before they close will give you everything they have.)
Altogether it was a rather educational experience.
