Well, sumpaintballer got his IR remote working and working on 2.00+, Dee.Eff.Ess got married to his sister, phil stopped drinking, peenee doesn't like MKDS any more, and I now hate the PSP.

this sucks it's so confusing

yeah here's some simple steps:

1. connect dreamcast to tv.
2. connect dreamcast to power.
3. plug in controller.
4. plug in vmu (optional).
5. open dreamcast.
6. place disc in dreamcast.
7. turn on dreamcast.
8. mash buttons on controller.

Dude the dreamcast is dead forget it. Get an emulator for you pc and download iso's if you got the urge for it. Or buy the games cheap on ebay.

its not all that simple because the dreamcast uses gd-roms which are 1gb discs and cds are 700mb. the dreamcast is very unsecure but the discs are hard to copy for the average end user such as me or you. the discs are written in a way that a normal cd/dvd lens wont read.

as far as finding isos i did a 30 seconds search and found an emu and isos.

it reads a segment of them that is written in a different format. the actual game part is written in a format that is only read by the dc's lens or whatever modified drive is used to copy and rip them. im not 100% positive on how they are copied etc cos they are written to plain cd-r's but the gd-roms being 1gb is 100% accurate. I'll find a source that knows more on it without getting me banned for showing u how to pirate. also bear in mind i dont have a dc so this is all memory from when i was reading up on it/

phil you can burn dc games to cd-r's but they rip them with the braodband adapter,

u can only burn them if they are under 700mb.

thats all about the gd-rom. it should be more insightful than me and doesn't actually tell you how to do anything so the md party room and we should be safe.
