Yeah I will be I gotta night shift. So ill be on until 7am my time (about 14 more hours). I'll be going soon tho to get ready for work and have dinner, then ill be driving to work. Then I'll be commited to the cause.

well I went to sleep and hour early and I woke up an hour early... I should really break my habit of sleepign with the window open. It being warm in my bed and literally freezing out side of it does not help teh wil to get out of it. -.-

dammit just got to work and tried installing halo. Found out that there is a policy on every pc that will not allow directx to be installed or run. so i can install the game trial but still cant run it. What a pile of horse s*** I'm a bloody systems controller and I cant control my own system. Also found out from a guy at work reponsible for our uber firewall that it would block traffic as well as the ports aren't open. Oh well I suppose its something that i got him to open up the ports for bittorrent after 3 months of begging and buying him endless cups of coffee.

why dont you ask him for administrator powers on that comp so you could install direct x and ask him nicely to open only a certain port on the firewall for halo

YES! I just installed my new copy of the full version of halo. I hope 10 was right and it's worth it. Well I suppose I got Halo2 for free from my friend so halo is cool to own too... did you ever find that disk so you can update Tri?

I dont think that would fly. He only agreed to allow me to use bittorrent because it doesn't stop me working when its going on in the background. I've already got an admin account and it still wont work. I may try changing my profile slightly once everyones gone home and give my self admin privileges across everything (we have 28 different domains and im only admin in 2, within these domains there are about 300 different user levels which I can change my account to). If i do change my privilieges and it works then im gonna have to make sure that i change it back before I go home cos I will be seriously jobless if i get caught fiddling with my account. I mean I got a weeks suspension just for changing it so my password never expired.

If I do change it I've still got the problems of the ports on the firewall, which he wont change and I wouldn't even know where to start trying to change. Its a hell of a lot more complex than my router/firewall at home. lol

Try it out online and make sure it works. If it does, we need to get everyone who has the full version online tonight.
