If they would have understood than they should have not of banned him for having a band logo as an avatar. Im dont know wether or not they talked to Ten before they banned him but - if they had they would have known it was a band logo and if they didnt talk to him, then that was their fault in the matter and shouldnt have just banned him for getting complaints from uptight christians...

Exactly. So it was their fault, a mistake. Now just tell them that they did something wrong instead of coming back and doing the same thing, still without explaining it.

from what i understand he was asked to change it before he was banned and he refused purely because it is not anything offensive but just a band logo.

But did he tell anyone that? If he had, then I would agree with all this wholeheartedly. For now, I still see Ten as being in the wrong for how he handled the situation. If I find out that he told the person that warned him that it was just a band logo, then it was definitely wrong banning him.

But they in turn made the same "mistake" again. Now what does that say about how they handle situations? Sure he could have done it nicely and explained and such - which he sort of did in here. But instead he took force cause he was banned for a dumb reason. I mean if he had an avy with cussing all over it or a sig with gory images - that might be a little more understable... but to be banned for having a band logo as your avy, that would make anyone pissed

There, all sorted out. Now I would suggest everyone take down their protest avatars, because those are purposely offensive, and not jut band symbols. Just trying to make sure more pplp don't get banned.

actually im keeping my av as it is. i dont care anymore. its still got me worked up that the forums that i love are so happy to ban people based on an av that offends a small number of users.
