whats wrong with giving your parents your money?

I make a little under £1000 every month. If I didn't give most of it to my parents I'd spend it all easily. I've done it before. They save it but I can get to it whenever I wan't to buy something big like PSP, a PC, a widescreen TV etc. They also keep a load as my rent, then a load in saving I can't touch to cover my Car Insurance, Travel Insurance, Car Tax, Car MOT and another load in a car savings for paying for repairs on my sorry heap of s*** car. Another hefty chunk of my earnings is my rent. At the end of the day im left with about £400 which I spend on Diesel, Alcohol, Cigarettes, clothes and generally enjoying myself.

hes 14 not 5, anyone can handle their own finance at that age...

there's no physical way that they can take it from him if it goes into his bank account. If he hasn't got his own account then its time to get one.
