You definitely need a different program if you plan on making images like sigs and thing on a regular basis. If you are the pirating type, people tell me Photoshop is the best - although im more savvy to Fireworks. Alot of people use The Gimp, but to me its basically worthless and no where near as user-friendly as Fireworks is...

anyone notice xodiac cheating the sig contest by changing his entry. he deleted his previous submission. noob doesnt realise that deleted posts end up in the trash forums and vis can still access them and see that he already submitted an entry.

i have both Fireworks, and Photo shop...
I just dont know how to use fireworks...
