So i just recently got accepted to UVA school of engineering, and i am pumped for it. I was intending to go into comp sci/comp enginerring as a dual major, cuz the two cirriculums are similar.
But then I heard that UVA just got a new Nanotech building, and I thought: "Whoa, that would be a cool thing to major in!"
So... are there any people involved in the Nano scene out there? It's a new field with lots of potential, so it would seem like it would have a good future. I really don't know a lot about it, but that's what college is for, right?
If anyone has advice/comments or any knowledge about the Nanotech scene, I would appreciate the extra knowledge before I decide how i want to go. You can only learn so much from a school or business' website, and I wwant to hear from REAL people.
