I kinda joined up when the whole points thing was still in infant stage, then with all the posting I did in NON psp forums.. racked up quite quick.

NAw, Seredith just gave out 2,000 points to every memebr of the points plan after he received like 50,000 from Fanjita.

Also i think this points plan has gone to hell. When people are able to donate more than 10000 points into it then i would hardly say they are in need of points. the whole idea was that people who dont have many points would get more points quicker. but obviously its gone out of control.

I agree to a certain extent. Some of the bigger contributors are just going to suck up the lion's share of the interest and my measly 1000 might have been better kept in my own account. If this ever does happen again, I agree that there should be a cap to the donation amount. You could theoretically borrow points from another member who has a massive amount and then jam them into the point plan on the last day to crush everyone else. (ie: borrow 100K from someone, split the dividends, etc.) It all comes down to who's the greediest in the end.

No one has donated over 20,000 (besides tmk) so make it right there and give tmk his points back...

At a later time I think we should make it 1000 though. I think Serideth should just make one big payout as soon as we get 300,000 and then restart the points plan with that new rule. It stinks for all the poepl that don't have enough points to keep up, so a limit of 1000 would be great for the next plan.

exactly....that way almost everyone would have 1000, and everyone would get almost equal interest. I guess it could be more, but I'm only speculating.

I would say aroun 10,000 max would be good for a 300,000 goal...

1000 points would be good for a 50,000 point goal...

it wasnt when this thread was started. serideth said 100 when he started this thread but soon people bumped it right up.

Yea, I had to donate a lot of pooints just to keep up. With 6 people over 10K before, I had to donate enough to keep myself in the running.

i donated 100 to start and soon everyone was over 1000 so i had to put in more just to keep up. as soon as we hit whatever target were going for i want out with my points otherwise its just rediculous.

I think I'm caping it at 20k TMK only actualy has 20k since ericky took 10k from him, so it's 20k max.

2800 points ur way to even me up at 10 000

Ive got 11000 in my bank now so i could easily donate another 9000 to put me up to 10000. As well but its just the principle of it. This was designed to give us all a boost in interest. But if people keep donating huge amounts then it doesnt benefit us much at all. We will reach the target quicker but the amount of interest that it has gained will be much less. Its just stupid.

I hope we reach the target soon so that i can get my points and forget about having any in here.

i just think that for the next points plan, we need to have ONE donation, like you can ONLY give 1000 or you can only donate in increments of 1000 and the max is 5000

so then its easier to split the points... and after like 2 weeks of donation, no one can donate anymore so then the intrest grows and its fair...

Also there should be no "gold" members or anything

Ok this is changing a bit.
New rules:

Members can donate the following...

5000 points.
10,000 points.
20, 000 points.

Intrest will be split up easier, also you won't have to pay it all at once.
