need excercise help...
does anyone know if eating like ~45 minutes later after running a mile on an empty stomach is as effective as running a mile after having eaten something? i know that it has its negatives, for example it makes your stomach hurt :( , but does it reduce the effectiveness of the excercise if u run hungry but then eat in 45 minutes?
i think it would be better to eat first. more energy. then u can burn off the calories

especially if ur gonna run 3-4 miles
Just eat a little before. Not too much, but don't starve yourself. Maybe a power par and a bottle of water.
as is drink water before you run or exercise.
then you can eat after you cool down. you really are not running on an empty stomach, you are still digestting what you ate the previous day.
don't over eat after and drink more fluids then eat. usually if you drink luke warm water it helps b/c your body digests water faster if not cold. you have to get the water to body temp for it to digest properly. that is why you feel like you drink alot and are full if you use ice in drinks.
it takes 30 minutes t really get your heart going enough to burn enough calories off that is why they say walk for 30 mins a day.
i was in the military and had to get up at 3:45 in the morn. most of the time i had to exercise right after. best to hydrate then work out.
oh power bars are not really good for you.
it's mainly a supplement for food like energy drinks. if used to much it causes problems.
