How is this sig I made?
http://img223.imageshack.us/img223/9...kiesig2zi9.gif
8/10 overall pretty good, but i wouldn't call yourself a "GFX Junkie"...
Lately Ive been spending hours at a time experimenting...Im a junkie, im not calling myself a pro or a masterZitat:
Zitat von Bachonga
EDIT: I think I should remove that stroke, its irritating
border = BAD red was not a good color.
bg is plane but matches the render...
i would say one of your better sigs... 8/10 :D
btw the animation is choppy...
how so?Zitat:
Zitat von deturbanator
what do you mean how so?? It looks pixely and uncut, probably because of the font you are using...
Here we go(no stroke)
http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/6...nkiesignv7.gif
Ill work on the animation in a minute...good thing I saved the psd
8/10 rate mine
i would say 8/10...
it is VERY different (god way), but l think the BG is bland... and slightly unappealing.
what if my bro puts a naked chick in the BG?Zitat:
Zitat von deturbanator
@backonga:8/10Zitat:
Zitat von gmansixfo
@gman: 8/10
heres the revised version
http://img92.imageshack.us/img92/670...kiesig5zz3.gif
26/10Zitat:
Zitat von gmansixfo
text is still choppy...(in animation)
U want me to put it to 5% opacity difference?Zitat:
Zitat von Bachonga
i don't know if that would make a difference... try it and you try and see if it looks more smooth...
you should try grunge... the way you are going for backgrounds is kinda lame.Zitat:
Zitat von SimplyTheBest
just 2 colors in lines across the sig. how bout try a grunge bg and then do your line effect then set the line to "overlay" so it seems the grunge has that effect...
rate mine
http://img134.imageshack.us/img134/8...kiesig6hz8.gif
Final version, animation is no longer choppy
Double Post Merge
I don't got any grunge brushes, and don't kno how to install themZitat:
Zitat von deturbanator
but if you give me some, then I prolly can get a new background
if you have photoshop now i can teach you...
go on aim.. i wont be on for long...
maybe i don't have the same meaning? i mean when you look at the letters you see the individual pixels as its appearing... it doesnt look very nice...
I have no idea what your talking about lol maybe I should just get rid of the animation?Zitat:
Zitat von Bachonga
how r these?

OMG!! YES!!Zitat:
Zitat von SimplyTheBest
you have just made your first VERY good move. remember a while ago when all i did was sigs with animation. well STOP. sigs without the animaiton look just as good if not better. istead of GIF save with PNG you quailty will go sky high. making your sigs more vibrant and better...
THROW AWAY ANIMATION FOREVER!
1: sig pic don't look too appealing,7/10 sorryZitat:
Zitat von deturbanator
2: Cool logo, bad area to place name, 8/10
3: No name? If it had a name it would get a 9/10
4. 8/10 im gonna experiment with adding a face in blank spaces today
first:8/10
second:6/10 link looks choppy becuase of symbol
third: ehhh, the face being revealed isnt a very good render 6/10
fourth: the scanlines are literally over EVERYTHING...including the sword protruding from the point where it leaves the picture..(?) It also messes up the font 5/10
No...just no...if I can master animation my sigs will come out much much more vibrant and I wan't to master animation more than I do photoshopZitat:
Zitat von deturbanator
i didnt make it for anyone...Zitat:
Zitat von SimplyTheBest
so i didnt put a name...
Double Post Merge
then you are an idoit...Zitat:
Zitat von SimplyTheBest
yeah, but a nice clean sig, IMO, looks way better than **** flying everywhere and being distracted by it...
r u talking to me?Zitat:
Zitat von Bachonga
no STB, on his stupid rant of saying animation should be mastered not GFX skills.

5/10 the sig pics arnt very good, and they are links, but the quote is decent
http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/5...uresig3gb9.png
Came out good...eh?
no considering 1 the whole body, BUT the tip of the feet are there (ruins consistincy) and once again the background is still just lines (at least this time theyre colored!)Zitat:
Zitat von SimplyTheBest
Also, why the fu*k are you using the SAME EXACT picture for the background as your main render??! Just when i thought you were getting better(at least its clean cut...)
render pic = too smallZitat:
Zitat von SimplyTheBest
face pic (hidden in the bg) = not hidden enough and too small... (when you hide somthing in the bg it is ok to expand the pic bigger than it came. when the opacity is so low the quality of the pic is hidden...
bg same a usual but good matching colors...
border uneven...
overll 7/10
Double Post Merge
using the same exact pic is ok for the effect he was trying to do. but since he didnt lower the opacity low enough, the effect got misleading by the idea of BG pics, which in that case must be diff pics...Zitat:
Zitat von Bachonga
I only make my sigs at maximum, 400x230 but usually 350x130Zitat:
Zitat von deturbanator
god, i didn't even notice the border...
BTW just testing this style... the sig it self isn't so good but if you could rate anyway... i more want to know if you guys like the style
http://img81.imageshack.us/img81/262...sigcopyuy4.png
heres a fixed up version, also whats wrong with the border?
http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/4...uresig6bj8.png
THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE RENDER!Zitat:
Zitat von SimplyTheBest
Double Post Merge
the sides arent proportionateZitat:
Zitat von SimplyTheBest
EDIT: after detrb told you it [bg render] wasnt hidden enough you made the opacity higher?
the BG render IS too small... i dont care how big your sig is, a BG render can be as big as is wants. it will just be cut out at the end...Zitat:
Zitat von SimplyTheBest
and if the render has to be resized to make it bigger. do not make it a 3d sig, and cut out unneeded parts and make the render bigger...
can i have that render you just used, so i can show you how i would do it...
(origonal size please)
