Well MAIN reason I was asked aboard was Ipaq and Jake knew I could handle the vB side of things abit easier since I am used to being a webmistress as well as help other community/project sites.
Next off was to help keep the forums fun, active and see what I could do. Plus to aide Ipaq in "admin" related matters.
So Thats what I am doing. I dont think ANYONE expected the workload and massive changes that still happen here. =p Hell.. I didnt even expect to be a admin... just happened outta the blue... I mean its hard enough to make mod.. then global mod is harder... Now imagine when you know the site is CLOSELY controlled.. lock and key... youd never expect to make admin... so I was quite surprised.
But I know why SOME admins dont talk... rem.. we have to be "Politically Correct" always and try to set perfect examples.. easier to make a 2nd username and do whatever. Not only that.. if we say something.. ppl hold us to that. Then you get the flood of PMs come in asking for this or that. Which Im glad to say, doesnt happen to me... since I have enough threads on the forum that I do track if you wanna make comments.
Jake is working on website stuff and being my liason to the FTP group so things can get working. he checks PMs on occasion and fwds anything I need to look at.
Ipaq again is the admin who controls policy matters to ensure they are enforced and to check dev status for users. (Even tho myself or Jake could do this too, Ipaq is the one who gets left with it, since its better for one person to control "x" aspect more and set standards vs everyone) I myself try to take care of any vB issues or ways to optimize things and make em fun.
So even the mods, everyone has a special role they do "best" and we try to let each person focus on those tasks, leaving the other tasks to other people who have that area as their "best" =)
