I use the word "terrific" based on the meaning of "terror".
The dreams I've been having for the past 4 days or so are all similar, but different.
The basic outline is simple: I somehow kill a certain individual in unbelievably excruciating ways, then use a fire axe to chop their bodies up and dump the pieces into a giant pot full of...liquid. The outcomes were always the same, corpse dissolving rapid, producing tons of fume and foul smell like a bottle of vinegar that expired ten years ago.
Some details change, such as the ways I murder my...victims. As well as the identities of my victims, two of them were completely strange faces, one looked like someone I knew, and the other one was like...I didn't even bother trying to see his face.
I was wondering if this kinda dream is the expression of my...inner self.
My psych prof told us that Freud's way to explain dreams is utterly and completely rubbish because it is under the influence of the dreamer's gender, sex...etc. He also stated that dreams most likely reflect whatever information processing is taking place in our brain during sleep. Sometimes we aren't aware that we recieved some information that may have some influences on our actions and behaviour. This kind of information, if dreamt, will feel very much like a very real yet very unfamiliar experience.
I...suppose that it is possible that I've been exposed to something that makes me dream like that. But then 4 days in a row?
Hmm, anyone got any other ideas?
I just hope the dream can stop before I actually go nuts and start murdering people around and claim "God told me to do so" o_o
