Do i have OCD?
I think i have OCD because i noticed whenever i do something such as spin to the right or do something in one direction i always have a very strong urge to do it in the opposite direction to "balance it".
It happens a lot when i play video games cuz if i push the right button on the d-pad a lot I feel i have to push the d-pad to the left to even it.

Maybe...? Or maybe its something else...
I always forgot to lock my car, and after awhile I developed a habit always checking to see if the car is locked, even though I locked it. Sometimes I will walk to my car, just to make sure I did it... I finally gave up this habit but I used to do it all time. Always had that urge to back and make sure....
It might just be habit, OCD usually pertains to a lot things and you'll know something is wrong with when you have OCD...so if think you have it, go see a doctor and check yourself out.

yeah im also very worrysome about things. If i feel something isn't right i absolutely have to check it. But it doesn't really bother me though. It gets annoying sometimes but it isn't handicapping me or anything.
-= Double Post =-
yea i just checked a site...i have all the symptoms. Like i never leave my chargers plugged in because im afraid they'll catch fire or something. I also feel uncomfortable with throwing things away, leaving things on, leaving things outside or exposed. Also if someone is gone for a long time i become afraid something happened to them.Geändert von mohaas05 (08-17-2007 um 09:48 PM Uhr) Grund: Automerged Doublepost

Go to a doctor.
No one on here can diagnose you correctly.

Want to wear out your Dpad direction buttons evenly eh?
That sounds like a quirk of an OCD sufferer, but we all have them.
I feel an urge to smooth or rub anything I might scratch,
even if it didn't matter that I scratched it (like the side of a tree for example).
This sort of thing, like anxiety and depression, isn't a disorder until it interrupts
your life in some way that it becomes a problem. If it does you need to go
see a doctor.

Are you under any stress:
School
Family break up
Freind or relatives death.
And has this urge to even things out only started recently after one one of the above stresses has occured ?

Gnn. People who are all "I've got an OCD, I always have to [insert "disfunction" here]" are just being pretentious. It's not OCD, OCD is an extremely life troubling mental disorder. You just like sounding weak so people take pity on you.
EDITTY: That sounds a bit harsh; it wasn't aimed at anyone in particular.-=Images are for Premium members only=-

I sort of do the same thing as you, if I'm pressing buttons while waiting for the game to load. But when I'm actually playing the game, I do whatever and don't care.

Same here, the volume on my tv/speakers always has to be an even number. Can't be something like 11, 15 or 21.

OCD is when you feel anxious about a routine or action NOT getting done, and you won't feel better unless you do it. If you don't do it or someone or something prevents you from doing that action, then your anxiety level will go through the roof. For example, a person needs to wash their hands a certain amount of times or use a certain brand. Or they need to arrange their food in a certain way before eating it.
OMG. Too many people claim to have Asperger's Syndrome just because they saw House and want an excuse to be a jerk >_< Whenever a new illness is presented in a form of media, you'll get like 100,000+ people claiming that they have it. One good example is Multiple Personality Disorder(now known as Dissociative identity disorder).
Zitat von Siouxsie
There's also Medical student's disease, and it means that people who read about illnesses will THINK that they have it even if some of the symptoms fit. So don't diagnose yourself =/

Also, Dyslexia and Schizophrenia are two that a large amount of people believe themselves to have; Everyone struggles to keep up occasionally, and EVERYONE talks to themselves.
