EPIC FAIL: Hadron Collider to cost $21 million in repairs
so. after that much ado'd about nothing countdown to the official launch of the hadron collider, we get down to this.
a mere nine days after the large hadron collider was fired up on sept. 19, it was shut down due to electrical failure. says CERN (the smartass guys whom we have to thank for the best invention ever called the Internet), it's gonna take until May or June of next year before it can be up and running again.
oh, and some US$ 21 million.
here. let me grab some change in my back pocket.
one giant endeavor. one potentially huge blackhole. one badly soldered electrical connection?! looks like even the atom masher is no contest against a disgruntled welder, huh?
oh well, at least we have another six, seven months to breathe a sigh of relief. until the countdown to doomsday begins again.

There was in fact a potential for mini microscopic black holes, right? They were just supposed to be so insignificant though that they would disappear

I dont think its even a good idea fire up this thing...
I mean why would someone want to mess with something so dangerous and which know a fair amount of stuff about...
there are still dangers so because black holes can still grow...
well ide say its gonna be doomsday when that thing is fired up again...
