Time is an illusion, lunchtime doubly so. Something that does not exist cannot cease exist. Time was devised by humans to more easily live in our world.
Ha. I think you get ripped apart, since when you're inspace, you explode because the atoms of your body attempt to fill in the endless void of space.

who knows if time exist... time relies on speed, but how can you tell speed without time? the faster an object goes, the slower the time of that object passes. If you take light for example, even if it has been traveling for thousands of years, the light itself is only a few days old.

I think it re-ages you in a black hole, I think that when something goes it, human or object, it ages weirdly, different time in every spot, so your ear can be aging 100years every secend, and your foot is deaging by a few weeks every minute, cuz the time is screwed in a black hole! idk... the time will be screwy in a black hole tho, every single little spot has a different time and time speed! I think...

Isn't a black hole just a dead star who sucks everything up becouse it is so heavy? So actually it ain't a whole, i'ts just a ball that everything stucks on.

A black hole is a infinitly small point in space where there immense gravitational pull. The pull is so great that nothing can escape.

Time is also warped to the point where an observer would see you getting sucked in slower and slower the closer you get to the event horizon, eventually you would stop just above it..
To your point of view however you would just get sucked in (killed long before hand).

My imagin has taken over. But I think theres life, but a totally different kind of life throught the black hole. I want to travel into the black hole, but with a special suit to go in there, see what happens; you never know.

It ends in a point, no escape.

the sheer gravity pulling from every side rips as many times as possible until your not visible. Is this really a question, cause that's what happens to planets... They get sucked in and they ripped apart by the gravity... and do you know what a blackhole is? Essentially an imploded planet, that fell because its own graivty was too much for itself and gets sucked into its own core. So how can a planet that transport other planets to a different space and time?

i think that youll either die from pressure from the black hole, or, you'll die by how long it would take you to get to the dot. thats how many millions of light years to get to the dot, adn thats travelling at the speed of light! i seriously doubt the dots not *that* special. :)

This thread is pointless because the only way to even get near a black hole would be the space shuttle. Even then i don't think it could handle the external pressure. And since we may never have the ablity to reach one it its pointless to theroize about it.

so a Black hole is a hole and I dont understand it so its a hole on teh universe?so the universe is like uhm ike a ball ?and black holes are teh holes heh?so if you enter a black hole you get sucked by it with gravity and you never come out?I dont get it a hole on teh universe I have seen a pic in wikipedia!and I dont understand it its a hole on the universe I think it the other end has an openiing too!

wat would happen is when i black hole forms, everything that comes close would begin to stretch, so if it hit earth, your would notice you would weigh lighter, than the black hole would begin to stretch yourself starting from the legs, so slowly your legs would be pulled off than you would die. It souinds like fun :)

A black hole is created when a supermassive star dies and collapses, and planets as well as other objects get pulled into it. In this state, it is made of pure quarks (no protons, neutrons, electrons, or atoms to be found - a ball of non-matter in a sense). eventually, the gravity becomes so powerful that the object cannot keep it's current radius. It begins to shrink more, only causing the surface gravity to increase. Soon, it shrinks uncontrollably until all the matter in it, as well as any matter added to it, will be compressed into a infinitely small point in space. You can never know what will happen when you get sucked in because there is a point where you cannot escape (the barrier is the point in which a orbiting object would need to move at the speed of light to stay in orbit. Since it takes more that that to escape, you would have to travel faster than the speed of light, which is physically impossible). Time slows down as gravity increases (remember, gravity is just a downward acceleration), and since the object has an enourmous mass and no volume, the gravity beyond the barrier is theoretically infinite. Because of this, you cannot reach the black hole yourself, but you could be observed reaching the black hole relative to a point outside. Your fate past that point is simply death. You would be smashed into nothingness and your mass would be added to the black hole in less than a nanosecond. But, your fate relative to the point beyond the barrier is unknown. Most likely horrific.
