    Several things might happen.
    1. Your body is extruded out to infinity, then compressed into a single point.
    2. Your atoms are incinerated in the infinite heat.
    3. The particles that once made up your body will be slowly ejected as Hawkings radiation, so long as enough negative energy particles are sucked in to allow your positive energy to be shot back out.
    4. You will become part of the amalgamate mass of the black hole, and will eventually evaporate along with the rest of the whole.

    Fun, eh?

Ok a lot of people have been asking this same question, here is my theory of it.

Requirements: A piece of paper, and a pencil.

Ok on the top right corner of your piece of paper, draw a planet.

Now lets pretend that whole piece of paper is space. In the bottom left corner draw a dot. Now lets say each inch is equal to 100million light years.

Now you are on the planet, and you want to get to the dot. How would you go about doing this? Well, you enter a black hole, a black hole is what I think like a disruptor in our space/time.

We get into the black hole, and get spewed out somewhere esle, now fold the top right corner of your piece of paper, ot hit the dot you drew, see what I mean?

If a black hole is just a teleporter, or maybe thats what we think it is, we might be able to utilize . But maybe in all reality it just destroys all matter that go into it. Who knows, thats just my theory.

    ???
    No.

Electrons can't "fall into the nucleus" because electrons don't actually orbit the nucleus, there is just a probability field where and an electron is likely to be found.
Even if they could why would that turn all the matter of the atoms in to energy?
Lastly, it wouldn't be able to shoot off in jets because the gravity would be far to great.

so a Black hole is a hole and I dont understand it so its a hole on teh universe?so the universe is like uhm ike a ball ?and black holes are teh holes heh?so if you enter a black hole you get sucked by it with gravity and you never come out?I dont get it a hole on teh universe I have seen a pic in wikipedia!and I dont understand it its a hole on the universe I think it the other end has an openiing too!
Why do people always assume that black holes = wormholes/teleportation. That idea is only supported because it's a lot cooler than accepting that black holes are simply objects that contain no matter, have no volume, but still have a tremendous ammount of mass and gravity. The gravity near a black hole reaches the point where it is theorecally infinite, but limited only in respect to the position of and object relative to the black hole.

Basically, you can't "travel" through a black hole because that would require moving matter through a point that has an infinitely small diameter, a single point in space. As a result, that matter is packed into that point and it's mass is added to the total mass of the entire black hole.

i think if you go int a black hole (for what ever reason) i think it will just be nothing. no light, no stars, no plants. nothing. time ownt exist there =) you will just die eventually.... unless you somehow get out.
I think the last think you want to worry about is no light and no stars. Actually time doesn't exist now so it doesn't exist there either. A black hole is probably a GIANT gravitational pull which would crush you if you went into it. To go along with the theory that matter can not be created or destroyed even though I don't believe that it applies to space a Black hole has such a great force that whatever enters is crushed insanely small. This will allow it to suck up as much stuff as it could, without destroying the theory. But in my opinion if you went into one you would be crushed instantly killed.

Electrons do orbit the nucleus. Even if you don't know their exact position, it's possible to show that they're moving, and that they stay outside of the nucleus, and thus, they must be going around it.

As for the ejection of energy from the black hole, that's called Hawking Radiation. He's not just making it up.

And any matter that falls into a black hole is converted into energy.

looking at the picture in wikipedia, i think a black hole is just a planet or star, except with alot of gravitational pull. going with that theory of mine, i think you would just be crushed if you went there, which is why i'm going with chuck norris! he will protect me :) LOL

I believe that our best bet would be to rocket anti-matter in the black hole therefore reducing the amount of matter and gravity in a black hole and than fly in. But the problem is that it takes a really long time to create anti-matter and we would need a lot of so for now its all a mystery. But i do agree with the worm-hole idea, it seems more plausible in less time.

The first issue would be putting yourself into the black hole all at once. It's definitely impossible. But aside from that, you'd just lose whatever parts of your body entered the gravitational field of the black hole.

Well, from what I know of Physics (i.e. very little), the gravity in Black Holes is so powerful light cannot escape it, so surely that means that anything that enters it is completely crushed and destroyed.
