What implies existence. beyond implies existence.
There is no What and no Beyond the edge. The edge is the End. The end of existence, the end of What IS.

Nothing lies beyond the edge is the best we can describe it but that is to inaccurate. Nothing implies existence. Nothing has only meaning with existence. In space, there is Nothing, it is just space, void of matter, and being, but there is Something for which to give Nothing meaning. That would be Matter, Energy, Thought.
There can't be Nothing Beyond, Beyond has no existence. Nothing needs existence to be Nothing.
The Universe is existence, it has Something, it has Nothing. The Universe IS.
