What is IRShell?IRShell is just that. A shell. But, it's no ordinary shell. IRShell allows you to listen to music in games, stream media from your PC to your PSP, run homebrew, have tons of key shortcuts, control your T.V, view all kinds of documents, manage files, anything basically! It also offers a great graphical interface, which is much more pleasant to look at then the standard XMB.

How to Install IRShell. This process is really simple. All you have to do is download IRShell from here and if you don't have it already, download WINRar from here and install it. Once you've installed WINRar, extract IRShell. Now, open the folder. See the folder IRShell and PSP? Put both of those in your PSP. Now your done installing IRShell!

How to Install Remotes for IRShell.Go back to the link I gave you to install IRShell. See the file called Pronto Hex Code v1.3? Download that. Once you finish downloading, just extract it like you did with the original IRShell file. Once done extracting, open the folder, and do you see the folder called IRShell? Just put that in your PSP and hit yes to all! Guess what? You can now control over 2,000 devices!

Using the IRShell ConfiguratorUsing the IRShell configured, you can change certain functions of IRShell, such as the skin, predefined homebrew, among other things. To use it, just run it from the graphic interface of IRShell.

Changing Predefined HomebrewPut your PSP in USB mode. Then, open your IRShell/HOMEBREW folder. Then, put your homebrew with folders and EBOOT's in the corresponding folder. RIGHT is slot one, RLEFT is slot two, RUP is slot three, RRIGHT is slot four, and RDOWN is slot five. Once you've done that you can change the name that shows up in the interface through the configurator.

Installing PluginsIRShell comes with most of the plugins you need, but you may want some more! To get them, go here. Then, just download the one you want. Extract them, and open up the folder, then the one without the percent. Once you open that, copy all the folders and EBOOTS into IRSHELL/EXTRAPP2X/EXTRAPP15, and then into one of the app folders. The first blank one in the newest IRShell is APP8. Once you do all that, go into the IRShell configured. Then, scroll down until you get to the app folder you want, and put in the type of file you want it to be associated with.

Installing SkinsDownload a skin you want from here. Extract it, then just drag & drop the folder in IRShell/Skins. Then, to use the skin activate it in the configuration.
