Guild Wars - The Fourth Campaign
I am an avid guild wars fan. I just recently bought prophecies and have even more recently become level 20. As you may already know, Guild Wars: Prophecies was the first installment of the series and is the basis for any Guild Wars experience, taking place in a Lord of the Rings style fantasy environment in which you can choose between 6 core classes (Warrior, Monk, Ranger, Mesmer, Elementalist, Necromancer). In the second installment, Factions (which can be played by itself, but is best paired with Prophecies), you have acess to two exclusive classes, Assasin and Ritualist, and the game takes place in a fuedal China-esque nation. The third installation, Nightfall, will take place in a pseudo Africa/Egypt country, and two more exclusive classes will be available, Paragon and Dervish. It has become evident that each game's setting and exclusive classes give it a theme, so I've begun to wonder what theme is left for the fourth campaign to explore.
Like many of my previous discussion threads, I would like it if people submitted their own ideas for possible classes and themes for the next campaign. I would appreciate it if a lot of thought was put into this, so that the suggested classes and settings can be paired up into what could be considered as a possible theme for the next game.
As for thinking up classes, try and base possible classes on the required weapon class. For example, a Cowboy class (getting a little unusual here, but it would be pretty cool :p) would use different varieties of guns. In addition, try and pair up these classes to likely settings. For example, a Cowboy class would suggest a wild west themed country.
Individual suggestions are still welcome, if you just want to submit a possible setting or possible class by itself, but try and group together a SETTING and TWO EXCLUSIVE CLASSES as one suggestion.
