The Brute Spiker and Spike Grenade are two different things.
Both new in Halo 3.

I would say needler is the best if you know how to use it. Then probably sniper. Then laser.
The needler is quite awesome in the Beta...
But I just stick with the Assault Rifle. That, or the Carbine Rifle.

He was just as bad as I thought he would be.
I just came home from a friends house where we played together, and it was fricken awesome. Halo 3 got 10x more fun with more people. It was two on a tv, and me on my monitor, in the same room, we hooked up seperatly to live, and joined party, fricken awesome. Later, another friend came so we had 4 people, even more fun. We played halo 3 basically from 7pm to 3 am, awsome :)
And now i love the record feature, because there was a FFA game on snowbound, and I got my friend two times within 30 seconds with in the face stick spikers :)
Someone also found a glitch to get into the custom game lobby, but its impossible to start a custom game, check youtube for a video
i just like the standard assault rifle you spawn with, i do 90% of my killing with it...
Whoa. When halo 3 comes out it's gonna have 4 player co-op for campaign. 4 players over XBL. so sweet.

You can only download it if you have a Gold Membership, which ran out forever long ago, and then everyone on my Friends Lists has invited em to play with them, and I can't. :(

Also another tidbit, my buddy rented crackdown and was able to download and play...so for people that want to try but didn't buy crackdown, there is an option...
the warthog does feel underpowered...
Grenades lost alot of power from Halo 2 to Halo 3.
I'm definitely buying Halo 3. Four player XBL co-op sealed the deal.
