Yeah, but at least you can throw them more then 15 ft now....I love being able to throw halo 1 long bombs across a map again...


They underpowered them because they don't want people doing all their killing with just grenades, or with just weapons....they wanted to bring back having to throw a nade and then shoot the guy abit, or vice versa....

yeah, sniper is like 2 hit kill. Higher ground is my fav map because of it's close quarters. I die alot in snowbound because someone always manages to get behind me.

It lost some power, there is a bigger delay in between shots now, but it is still too powerful. I don't know what they could do to fix it, (maybe a recoil?) but it needs to lose some power.

The only way they could change the sniper is to make it like gears with only one bullet at a time but that would suck without active reload lol.

IMO, shotgun isn't powerful enough. It's a 3 shot kill, but in the time it takes to pump the shotgun three times, you get mowed down by a round from the assault rifle.

Shotgun is great its just not like Gears where you can kill them in one hit with the shotgun a mile away. The shotgun in Halo 3 is a 1hit ko but you have to be really close. The longer the range the more bullets it will take which is great thats how it should be.

They should make the sniper rifle bolt action. So there's a animation going on and you feel like there's a reason for the delay to shoot.

Dont forgot your playing Halo 3 not gears. When you get so use to gears you use to only headshots or active reloads killing you(against a sniper) its not the same in Halo 3. Once you get use to it, it wont feel as bad.

OMG. I've never been a Halo fan but this Beta is amazing. I'd go so far as saying that I'm addicted. I don't totally suck at it like Halo 2.
