That's because halo 2 took a hell out of a lot less skill compared to this, that and people are still adapting.

Yeah, I do suck with it. By the time I'm close enough to the enemy to make the shotgun a 1-hit-kill, I've already been beat down. I've been using it as a mid-range, and it becoming 3-hit kill from that range, it's completely useless.

btw, I hate the rockets only gametype. Completely useless. Utilizes barely any skill. Here's the forumla.

1. Jump alot
2. Shoot the ground where you think your opponent, who is in midair, will land.

Oh and if you are really "skilled" at the rockets only gametype, you'll make your jumps less predictable.

Or even worse, just look at your gaydar and shoot the red dots.....

I'm really sad they kept the frigging gheydar, makes it such a noob game....but alas, that's what custom games are for I suppose.


Also, with the shotgun....just try not to use it in scenarios where the guy see you running at him. In the beta, the only real place you should be using it is on snowbound, and only in the corridors belowground...while croutch walking so people can't see you on gheydar....i've gone crazier then gears style with the shotty, taking out 5 guys before they put me down...

I wasn't whining, I was agreeing with your statement about my lack of skill with the shotgun.

Shatterdome, as far as radar goes, if it wasn't for the radar, I would get uber-pwned. I think that the dots stay red for too long after you've made yourself noticable, and that makes it cheap. But I rely on the radar way too often for me to cast my vote in the 'get rid of the radar' direction.
