Was at 48% and I think it froze(long time at 48%) so I re downloaded it at 5% now...
I like the maps! Its actually pretty fun...and im not a halo fan -.-
60% not too bad, but not the fastest live has been...been about 15min
Well once you've DLed the game, have fun in the lobby. It's mad difficult to get a game started now. All you crackdown-punks pwned the game servers.
(somehow I'm better because I was randomly selected for Phase 1.) Awesome game. When I got off, there were 34,900 players global.
The Beta owns. Halo 3 is sweet. The missle pod owns lol. Anyway to get the films you make on your pc?

I just went to bed yesterday in hopes of it being completed. I was at around 70% a little after midnight.
8 and a half hours in and I'm at 90%.
My speed just went up alot so I should be done within another half an hour.

I only got to play 4 games before bed....so far, very pleased. Havn't gotten to play valhalla yet, so no man cannon for me :P
Also, matchmaking is a tad slow, but if it's an offshoot (which i'm sure it is) of halo 2 matchmaking, then it will take them a few days to build up a history for quicker matchmaking...
Going to play it alll day today....

I was a complete idiot, I had my monitor resolution on the xbox set to 4:3, so everything was stretched and looked bad, now its all awesome after fixing it, love the beta

Yeah, it was crazy to see how people with Crackdown were acting yesterday when they couldn't download the beta right away. Bungie forums were absolutely chaos. Threads threatening to kill a cat an hour until they got the beta? People, it's just a game. If you can't play for a few hours, it isnt a huge deal. Is it back up yet? Just curious, as I haven't seen any mention of the issue on Bungie's front page.

One more item of "gotta have it" merchandise for the Halo collecting crowd. Grunty-Flakes? Master Chief Breakfast Bars? UNSC standard issue Underoos? Spartan prophylactics? (look out "Trojan Man"!) None of those are on shelves.... yet. But there IS the Special Edition Halo® - Zune™!

We're happy to announce that starting immediately, a new title update for Crackdown is available on Xbox Live that will enable downloading of the Halo 3 Beta. Also, as a consolation for lost time and inconvenience, we are extending the Halo 3 Beta end date to Sunday, 6/10, at 11:59 PM PDT.
