iPodLinux Manager is a universal installer for most iPod's available today.
Installs IPL (iPodlinux) and Loader2

Windows Version - Download

Windows Install
1. Open the downloaded files (iPodLinuxManager.zip) and extract the iPodLinuxManager folder to your desktop.

2. Connect your iPod

3. Open task manager and end the process iPodService.exe.

4. Run the .bat file. (iPodLinux Manager.bat)

5. Enjoy iPodLinux

Q. Do I get to keep my default OS?
A. Yes, when you do a full restart you are welcomed to the blue screen of loader2. Where you can select to enter Apple OS (Default) or iPodLinux.

Q. How do I do a full restart?
A. Hold down Middle button + Menu Button for 15 seconds

Q. How do I uninstall it?
A. Restore your ipod through itunes.

Q. Can I still put music on it like normal?
A. Yes

it works with 2nd gen nano. GO on the ipod linux site.

EDIT: I guess the ipodlinux manager server is down. Could u host all of these like on sendspace or sooething?

Yes its podzilla 2, as for music you use the MPD player. More Info here - I think this auto installer install it.

You don't have too. Also to warn you the 5.5 80 is a bit buggy with IPL currently.

hmmm brad can u get your loader 2 thing to work with a cfg file? I want to put in iboy , mame and snes, doom etc. but i haveno clue how to install it and run it. Can u give a tutorial on how or maybe just explain?

EDIT: Problem solved for the loader.cfg file. but how do u install games like doom mame gamegear etc?

For the best install compatibility I recommend the manual way as of right now.

its not workin for me i keep gettin a error when i try to boot up into linuxipod it says "kernal panic:UFS:unable to mount fs on 03:02
