I, as well as many others, encountered this ram failure due to poor contact connection between M3L and DSL. I've been probing my M3 for a day now and I think I pin pointed the problem:
The area of the shell where the SD card slot rests is suppose to be thin to ease the cart's entrance in the DS, but alot of the shells have a thicker layer of plastic there which causes stress when the cart is insted. On top of a tight fit, this de-levels the M3 mobo and spins the ram contacts out causing game failures. The only solution I came up with so far is padding the chip(left) side of the shell's backing with 2 strips of isolation tape, re-leveling the mobo and making contacts match alot better.
A new issue I came across is lack of sleep mode, possibly due to the poor connection of the cart, when a DS game is inserted(mine's Flashme v7 and worked perfectly with Slim SD). Whoever encountered this and is willing to help me fix this problem, please contact me however you can.
