How do i transfer text messages to my new phone?

I have saved some messages into my 'SIM Archive' folder from my Nokia 6131. i want to transfer them to my new Sony Ericsson C903, but the messages aren't showing up anywhere even though they are saved on the SIM? any ideas on how to use the phone?

You can use a SMS backup application to help you transfer them to a pc first.
I am using 3GMobile SMS + Contacts Backup.

Try forwarding them maybe? I've never heard of importing text messages, only contacts and stuff like that.
