I have been on the psp forums and have been running homebrew for that system for about a year or so and am getting sick of its low battery life and UN-portability for my needs. Recently I purchased a GBA Micro and in looking for a proper cart for my homebrew needs, I have run into some inconsistant reports as well as OLD info, as the Micro or the SP don't seem to be the popular choice these days for homebrew.
Before I get told that this n00b needs to do research, I have. But the biggest problems I've run into in my search is I find many conflicting info on the way one puts ROMs onto the card itself, as well as compatability. I am running a Powerbook with MAC OS X and I have read that a lot of the sd cards use drag and drop techniques and need no driver support, where other sites say they need drivers etc. So to simplify my woes...
-I need a good cart to put my 256k worth of roms etc onto
-can it run on OS X, or do I need to boot up a virtual PC?
-do the newer SD carts advertised for the DS work well on the GBA Micro? There seems to be a lack of info on anything other than compatability with DS.
I've been searching for a long time and just want to be sure before I spend a lot of money. And in case you were wondering, I am quite interested in the Easy Flash 4.
