Hello all. I've been around the psp forums for a while (proud owner of a psp slim running CFW) and have just recently been thinking about getting into homebrew on my DS. I've read through a few posts and it seems like the R4 flash card is widely suggested.
I just want to make sure that...
1. That information is not outdated and R4's are still great flashcards
2. Where to buy them, on DealExtreme they seem to be fakes, linking to websites that are not http://r4ds.cn (which is the official site, I hope) and have things like "R4 PRO Revolution" and "R4-III" and "R4-Advance". Should I spend a few extra dollars and get the R4 from ConsoleSource? Or are the PRO Revolution, III, Advance, actually all official upgrades on the original, and not fake?
Only others I've really read about are the M3 and the iTouch, but not much input on the difference between them, they all seem to have the same features.
Many thanks for any replies!
Oh, I forgot to mention.
I'd like micro SD HC, but if I do get one that only says SD HC, can I use a normal micro SD card in it?
I already have a micro SD (non HC) card and I'd like to use it but be able to upgrade to SD HC, so I wanna have backwards compatibility if possible.
I can't find an obviously official R4 that supports Micro SD HC, except this one but it doesn't seem to be exactly obvious as to what they mean when they say, "Simply copy your ROMs or multimedia files onto a low cost, high capacity MicroSD card", Is that HC or are they just stating that MicroSD cards are high capacity as a selling point?
