I've been in the PSP homebrew scene for quite awhile thanks to a guy who helped me get to Custom Firmware through PM's on here, and I greatly appreciate him and QJ is a really good community. Right now I sit here looking at an old phat DS is I guess what you would call it? Anyways, it's the first ones that ever came out when they first came out with the DS. I am curious about homebrew and having ROMs work on the DS, kinda of like you can download ISO's/CSO's and homebrew for the PSP and put them on the memory stick and run them. But as of right now I have no clue on where to start to get this ancient thing up and going for it, I haven't really played it for 2 years and just am now pulling it out, and I do believe having DS ROMs and homebrew working on it would greatly increase my wants to play it. I do know I would require a flashcart for it, my question is would there be any I could use my memory stick pro duo for, and/or micro SD card from my phone? And if there is would there be any extra steps evolved in it getting ROMs/homebrew/music working on it if I did get that kind of flash cart instead of a default one? And also what would be the most current up to date and best one to get? And would anyone be able to tell me how to exactly get setup for all this? And also I've heard the NinjaDS flashcart is going to be good should I wait for that to come out and buy one or get something else?
Any help on getting me setup for this would be very very very greatly appreciated, also I will provide a pic of the kind of DS I have, and I have never upgraded the firmware in it because I do not know how to and if it's even possible to on a DS Phat? Thank you ahead of time.

Also is there any possible way to run homebrew/ROMs without doing flashcarts? Like using wifi from a computer I've read a little bit about WMB and WifiMe2 is that what those do?
