SuperCard - should I flash the firmware?
I'm jumping into the NDS homebrew scene head first, but unfortunately I didn't do as good a job of research as I should've... I recently got an NDSL and bought a SuperKey with a SuperCard Lite Rumble off eBay and just got it today.
Do I have to flash my firmware (with Flashme or something) in order to run homebrew, because it's not working for me right now. I mean the SuperCard menu comes up but no homebrew is listed even though it is on there. SuperCard has firmware on their website... is that for the SuperCard itself or does it flash the NDSL's system firmware?
Since there are better solutions out there that only use the NDS card slot 1 (like M3, G6 Lite and others) I don't think I will be using SuperCard as a long term thing. If I flash the SuperCard firmware (or FlashMe), will I be able to use others card for homebrew in the future (M3, G6), or am I stuck with SuperCard?
I guess I'm not really sure if the firmware flashes to the NDSL or the SuperCard itself, or if I actually need to flash any firmware to run homebrew. I'm reallly new to this scene, sorry if it's a dumb question. Any clarification would be appreciated.
