Well supposedly, next month, a japanese maganize called "coro coro" is announcing there will be detiails on a new remake of DP. So we gotta wait to hear the details till next month

the latest CoroCoro that comes out in Japan tomorrow has revealed, rather hinted, that a new game is coming out this year. The way they organised the listings showed a timeline of the original games (Red/Green, Gold/Silver, Ruby/Sapphire, Diamond/Pearl) and then their follow up (Blue, Crystal, Emerald). It then leaves the gap open in 2008 for this new game. This implies that the upcoming game is to be the third version of Diamond & Pearl. This is listed with the information detailling next month's issue so it is likely the first details arrive then so be sure to check back

I freaking hope it has the original 151 pokemon. That was the only reason I didn't like D&P so much.

I been hearing from people that they want GS remakes but they never said it was true so =/

Man GS was so good only b/c it had johto and kanto in it which made the game llonger

Gold/Silver remakes would be pretty cool... It's been forever since I played those, so it would be (like) new to me. I've played Red and Blue to death. I've practically memorized the game.

lol it could be possible for nintendo to do a remake of GSC.
I mean they did do a remake for red blue yellow on FR and LG and it came out pretty late. Could be the same for GSC

But that's just my guess.

I would guess, if they follow what they did with FR, LG is that they would make the G/S remakes and then the 3rd in the D/P series. I hope that is the case

That was a big turn down for me, I didnt mind the new pokemon, but the fact that they mixed it with the other ones made it confusing, since I missed the last generation of pokemon. But a Gold and Silver remake would be great. Sales would go through the roof.

I don't mind new Pokemon either, but I want all of the original 151. They can have 1000 Pokemon for all I care, just as long as they have the original 151.

Also, if they're doing Gold and Silver, it'd be nice if there was some way to capture Mewtwo. He's only capturable in Red and Blue if I'm not mistaken, but he's definitely my favorite, and I'd like to see him in a D&P engine game.

Well yeah, but I mean in a game that's not set in Kanto.

I know Gold and Silver goto Kanto... Was Mewtwo catchable in those games? It's been years.

You can get every single pokemon that exists to D/P. You just need FireRed/LeafGreen and Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald and you are all set.

D/P is capable of having ALL the pokemon. (except third-party pokemon like surf pikachu) You just need the previous GBA games mentioned above. Then you use the Pal Park.

It was probably a turn-off for you cause you can't CATCH all the pokemon in the single card. And I am sure you can catch mewtwo in FR/LG and transfer it to D/P via Pal Park.

That's just classic. Goto the Cerulean cave, find Mewtwo, throw you're Masterball... Classic

Does anybody know if you can do the Pal Park thing with a Supercard lite that has Fire Red on it? I'll play throgh Fire red just for that.

It would be easier to get mewtwo from GTS or something. I can't guarantee you it will be legit though..

Don't you need to have to have a Pokemon in your Pokedex to search for it in the GTS?

Well I just hope in the new games you can go to different regions, like how in G/S/C you could go back to the areas in R/B/Y.

To be honest, I think a game where you start your adventure in Kanto (R/B/Y) and end in Sinnoh (D/P) would be the best Pokemon game ever made. That's like a 500+ hour game, son.

That, and let you choose what your character looks like. I swear, the main character designs are getting fruitier each game! R/S's guy had fashion retardation, and D/P's guy looked like he came straight from France.

I would love a game like that but oh well :'( the NDS only has a max of 256MB flashcart space so it wouldnt be likely maybe all the old games in one not diamond and pearl.

Oh man, awesome, this is great news.

I'd love a game with:

All the original Pokemon in it.

Multiple countries.

Eevee as one of the starters as it can evolve into anything you want it be, or something like that, I'm getting a bit bored of the water/grass/fire thing.

And I also think something like the sonic adventure chao garden would be cool where you can have all your pokemon walk around and unlock moves and **** with mini games.

Man I'm excited.

Exactly it will probably be like Emerald, adds new features, new character look, extended plotline and a few more pokemon added in, catch both Palkia and Dialga as well as Girtina before you would on D/P. Don't expect a whole new game. Just an expanded version of D/P

I've alwasy had the idea that if it is the 3d in the D/P series (doubt it) then it will proably be Garnet or a precious stone begining with G to relate to Girtinia.
Diamond = Dialga
Pearl = Palkia.
