I have an .nds file on my computer (Windows XP, if it matters). All I want to do is extract the images from the game. Could anyone explain, in the simplest possible terms, how to do it? It was not originally my NDS file, so I don't have any special hardware (cards, chips, cords, plugs, or anything else) and I've deleted all the software I've tried to use because I can't figure out how to work it. (I can't even get a DS emulator to run so I could make screen shots, which wasn't want I wanted in the first place, I want to extract the actual .png files that the game uses.) In all of the related posts, it sounds like the instructions are for extracting images from a game cartridge so I'm still confused.
Thanks for any help you can give, and yes, I'm brand-new to this. (Until about a month ago, I thought an emulator was a stand-alone device and didn't realize you could play video games on your computer.)
