Passcard 3 Review
Introduction - Datel's Max Media Launcher Look Out!
The Passcard 3 is a 3rd generation hardware passme device for the Nintendo DS. It bypasses the security check from the DS game cartridge slot in order to allow the running of homebrew games, apps, and backed up roms from a GBA flashcard device. It works on both the DS “Phat” and new DS Lite.
Part 01: What Do You Get?
The Passcard 3 comes in a nice little box with professional looking art work and a plastic protective case for the Passcard 3. This product should reach you in optimum condition, no matter how much the mail man bashes it around.
Part 02: What’s New?
New in this version of the Passcard is simply, simplicity! Unlike the previous Passkey2 and Passcard 2 devices the Passcard 3 is truly and simply PLUG & PLAY.
Part 03: How Does It Work?
The Passcard 3 is the easiest to use passme device to hit the market. You simply take it out of the box and pop it into the DS, THATS IT. No more programming, no more power on, then off, then on again, just put it into the DS game slot, turn on your DS, and it’s off an running. When you turn on your DS you will get the regular health warning from Nintendo and then a nice quick Passcard 3 splash screen.
After the splash screen your taken right into the flash cards menu. In my case I used the M3 MiniSD although the Passcard 3 will also work with all the major flash carts such as Supercard, G6, and Neo. Another great feature is that the sleepmode function of the DS works perfectly with the Passcard 3.
Once the Passcard 3 is inserted into the DS you won’t even be able to tell from the outside that it is in there. Like I said and have shown the Passcard 3 is the exact same size as a regular DS game cartridge.
No Fuss, No Problem and It's Super Small - Just Buy It!
One word, WOW! The Passcard 3 is the ultimate passme solution for the Nintendo DS. The Passcard 3 is the smallest and easiest passme device on the market today. Not only is it the best looking flashme device, but it is the SAFEST! By using the Passcard 3 you won’t risk “bricking” your DS by flashing it (which seems to happen to 1 out of every 3 DS Lites that people have tried to flash). Style, ease of use, no risk passme, and price, makes the Passcard 3 the hands down top dog for passme technology on the DS.
