Sorry for the new thread, but this is another issue than my previous one.
Should I put the IP address of Nintendo's USB Wifi Adaptor in my router's DMZ (or direct specific TCP, and all UDP ports, to the adaptor's IP address). My goal is to remove it from my router's firewall, or open it up significantly, but still allow my PC to be protected. Since the adaptor is USB, would opening ports for ITS IP address still seperate it from my PC? Would my PC be at risk?
I just don't fully understand how directing traffic (for example, UDP ports) to the USB adaptor's IP address, which is connects though my PC, will work. I am also concerned about doing this because my PC has Internet Connection Sharing activated.
