I was playing Metal Gear Solid 2 for the PS2 the other day...
and I saw this cute little otacon sprite! googled a bit and found out about OtaClock (a clock using that same Otacon sprite) now, after riping the sprite AND the sounds I've made a port for the DS and here you go! ![]() After lots of programming, it now wakes you up at the given time (you have to touch otacon and set the alarm!), and makes a simple math problem for you to solve! (NOTE: Won't stop UNTILL YOU SOLVE THE MATH PROBLEM!) AND! Even asks you if you want to repeat it (the alarm) ![]() Download HERE |

Nicely done! Only question I have is, after the alarm goes off and you need to do a math problem, could you simply shut-off the alarm by turning off the DS rather than solve the math problem (seems like I would do something along those lines
). Nice to see an alternative alarm clock available |

well...yeah..unfortunatel ly I don't think there is anything codewise I can do to make the user NOT shutdown the DS...
The other alarm is also limited in that point XD but to be honest, when it starts, turning it off is generally the LAST thing I think about XD Btw, can you put this on a news post? XD |
