So apparently some team accepted one of our challenges for a match last night, but I was never messaged about it. We now have a loss for what I'm guessing is a no show, which I am currently disputing.

I seem to be doing a lot of ***** work setting up these matches, so if anyone else makes a challenge, please post it here to give me the heads up and monitor if it's accepted.

Gamebattles staff are being complete douche bags on that loss we got for a no show to a match. They closed the ticket and wouldn't allow me to respond, so I opened a new one and copy and pasted the first one to get the last words in:

Feb 09 12:09:59 PM 2007 This clan had accepted a challenge from us, but in no way tried to contact myself or anyone on my squad via the message system on this site, XBL, or any other means. Now all of a sudden we have a loss, which I'm assuming is due to a no-show reported against us.

This should not have happened.

1. We were never contacted by the other clan that they were even online and ready for a match at all.

2. I messaged their clan leader this morning trying to set up a time via XBL.

3. I am willing to actually play this out whenever, as long as the other team makes some sort of effort in replying to my messages via live.

How can someone accept a challenge and then not try to actually set up the match? I request that this Loss be removed from our ranking.

Thanks for allowing me to reply to your comprehensive response, but I've got some more questions that I would like to see answered be someone other than the above. Someone willing to explain things to me, so that I can accurately relay them to others. We're in the gray area here so the answer is not so black and white.

Your logic/rules are relying on the fact that since I did not submit a no show, we get the loss. Let's pretend, shall we, that I did submit a no show in your allotted time slot. What then? We both get losses?

To restate the previous, this team did not ever try to contact myself or anyone else in my clan. A "no call, no show," if you will. I'm a little new to this site and have just become active setting up matches. That being said, how does this team get away with this scam? Yes, it's a scam.

I would really like to get this loss wiped, as I've been continuously sending messages to everyone on their team and guess what.....still not one reply via this site's message system, XBL, or email.

I threw out some challenges for tonight, tomorrow, and Thursday around 9PM EST.

Also -

I made DFS a Captain, which means you can now challenge other clans and report losses.

I made Hippie a Co-Captain, which means you can now report losses.
