i'm having a problem with over expansion, or maybe its just poor placement of planets. (they are too far from my main, except one)Zitat:

I'm rank 1874 and I've got a pretty decent amount of expansion at this point. I'm all over the freakin place.
I haven't really expanded yet. I've got three planets in my main system and then one planet very far away that is basically on its own.
I have 7 planets in all, and I'm pretty scattered, so good luck finding all of them.
So what should I be starting to do since I am about to break the 5000 point barrier and I'll be out of noobie protection
Here is my big decision now: Go forth and research energy technology so I can gain plasma technology, or build up a larger fleet with battleships?
Battleships. There's always someone who can break your defenses at that stage.
I agree, while plasma does deter some rivals, getting battleships so you can quickly accumulate resources is a lot more useful.

i made the mistake of focusing on defenses, and now i'm trying to pick up slack.
Meh, I haven't made any serious mistakes, since I'm always on raids and the resources seem to come at the same rate I spend them.
everytime i had resources leftover, building defenses is what i did instead of fleetsaving, but no more! lol
I still don't know what fleet and res saving is. lol, what are they?

Oh, lol. I already knew all that, just din't know that was the word for it. I figured that out all on my own. I send my entire fleet out on attacks that ast at least 9 hours every night.

You know I moved my fleet, right? You just wasted a colony spot.
That's why there's never been any fleets except for the occasional cargo there, I just use it for mines.

Yeah, that was tough. I'm debating whether or not to cancel research on drive 5 and instead grab impulse real quick so I can get bombers. I think battlecruisers are worth it though...
I'll trade crystal. I have so much of it.

Adiuvo - If you are going to PM people in my area and ask them to attack me on your behalf, at least make sure they are a few ranks above me :). I'm sick of being bombarded with 'y u attack adiuvo???' PMs.
