Not my fault who shows in with headhunter requests, he does have a pretty good fleet though.Zitat:

There's another guy who's rank 500 that I'm talking to right now, so is that better? :p
I'm sick of being bombarded with "A foreign fleet from planet Dope [1:376:11] was sighted near your planet Frenason [1:372:12]. Chance of counter-espionage: 0 %." too.
Oh a rank 500 person is happy with the petty 500k resources you are offering? http://board.ogame.org/thread.php?threadid=310921Zitat:

Yeah, I espionaged the guy who replied. The only reason he has a high rank is because he is a turtle. His espionage level is crap and so is the rest of his research.
Oh yeah, look what he posted right after that: http://board.ogame.org/thread.php?threadid=276126
The headhunters will ask him to pay him off higher than you are paying them so it doesn't matter.
Yeah, he is actually.Zitat:

So, Ive read from the guide that to colonize I need to send a colony ship to an empty planet. What counts as an empty planet? And how do I make, for example, a inactive planet usable for me to colonize.
1. An empty slotZitat:
Zitat von Spartan–117
2.Wait for it to be destroyed
Just got a new colony with 315 fields.
They take two months to be destroyed though, which is the sucky part (I hate seeing slot four planets 28 days inactive). If they are 28 days inactive, you can ask a GO to destroy it, they might comply, or might not :p
So can I just send a colony ship to galaxy 6 or whatever, somewhere out theres, to a blank slot?
yup
I just colonized a slot 4 planet and it only had 140 fields so I abandoned it. In the galaxy view it says destroyed planet. Does it take 2 months for that to go away? Because I want to send another colony ship there.
no it does not take months for it to go away, nowhere near that long
i havent kept check with a destroyed planet but i'd say its less than 2 days
I came back to play and find I'm kicked out of SRS :(
WTF i attack a planet with 3 RL and it took out 50 heavy fighters! BULLSH*TZitat:
Contact with the attacking fleet has been lost.
(That means it was shot down in during first round.)
A day or two and it will be gone.Zitat:

You probably got ninja'd. let me see the battle report. If you don't know what that is, this guy may have snuck his fleet to the planet before you got there.Zitat:

Three people dropped out before I left. Maybe it was because you were inactive? Who has kicking out rights in there?Zitat:

Also - I NEED METAL for a Nanite Factory. I can trade Crystal or Deut at the moment. I am mining more than I can spend at the moment while saving up for this building project.
I'm about 400K shy of the 1 million needed in metal to build this. I can get this in about a day or so in raids, but I would rather trade so my resources aren't lopsided for a week.
I'll send some large cargos with 400k metal in about 2 hours time. I'll send them to your main planet. PM me if you want them elsewhere. I'll take crystal in return, send however much you think I need.Zitat:
Zitat von Abe_Froeman
Just send an application and you will be reinstated. I kicked you out since you were dragging the average points of our alliance down. Nothing personal :PZitat:
Zitat von Serideth
In other news, I just dropped a whole lot of points since I've abandoned my colonies in galaxy 9. I am rank 1336 overall, but in fleets I am 1060 and research is 740.
I now only have 1 planet. I'm looking for a good spot to colonise, preferably near Adivuos other planets. If anyone has all his co ordinates, let me know.
Come near my main planet.
Also, I can only hold 600K in metal on main planet. If you send the 400 over, will any of it disappear. How does 200K in Crystal sound in return?
-= Double Post =-
I'm located in these places if you want to take a look:
1:181
1:191
1:238
1:240
1:269
1:328
None of it will dissapear, the only thing that happens is your metal mine will not produce any resources until your metal falls under 600k.Zitat:
Zitat von Abe_Froeman
200k crystal is great, should let me get a few more battlecruisers. I'll probably get a colony next to you in 2 days time. I have too many ships in my queue again and the colony ship will take a while to be built.
Pope - Where am I shipping this Crystal to?
1:376:11 Planet.
OK. It'll be coming from multiple sources.
do either of you guys or anyone else have destoyers yet?
No, I could have had the tech for that a few weeks ago, but opted to build up mines on all of my colonies to levels that match my main planet. The rest has gone into Battleships, Cruisers, and Battlecruisers. After I get this Nanite Factory built, I will be trying for a moon shot on one of my colonies in 1:238.
I can build them but I opt not to. Before I got my nanite factory, they would take 4 hours to build one and even now they take 2 hours.Zitat:
Zitat von EminentJonFrost
They are very slow too, I need to be able to strike fast but destroyers don't let me do that.
They are really only used for taking out plasma turrets and deathstars, neither of which I have seen anywhere recently. In ogame, the quantity of ships in your fleet is almost as important as the quality so I'd rather build a lot more battleships compared to a few destroyers.
New version tomorrow. Changelog is in this thread:
http://board.ogame.org/thread.php?threadid=311856
I didn't know this wasn't allowed? ATM I'm launching an ACS attack using 7 out of 8 of my planets, and it won't be back before tommorow. I wonder what'll happen.Zitat:
- You are no longer able to invite yourself to an ACS
Thanks Pope, I just started building the Nanite Factory about five seconds after your delivery arrived.
Now to wait two days and six hours while it's being built.
Well, I finally cracked the 5000 point mark, so I'm gonna start fleet saving now, so just a couple of questions.
Should the mines keep going after a fleet and resource save?
How should I go about raiding inactive planets for loot? Should I have the cargo ships return at about the same time as my fleet and res save fleet?
Im making another planet way in galaxy 6, should I build my bigger ships there?
I do everything at my planets. (It's makes no sense to dedicate one planet to mining one resource like I see from people I smash.) What I try to model all of my planets after, for the most part, is my homeworld. I want every colony to be as productive as my homeworld is, and for the most part I've succeeded. This is about what I keep at all of my colonies, fleet wise.
12 Small Cargos
8 Large Cargos
30-40 Light Fighters
10 Cruisers
5 Battleships
5 Recyclers
Build up decent defenses to nobody would want to attack that small fleet sitting there. (100-200 Light Lasers, Small and Large Shield Domes, and everything else that falls in line behind that.)
Have those ships run raids on inactives in their areas and constantly build ships and upgrade mines as they come in. Once each of my colonies has about 10 extra battleships, I send them to my main fleet.
Fleet save every night with raids on inactives, and have them return when you know you will be able to be online. Once they get back, send them right back out for more.
Of course, having more fleets to control means more resources coming in throughout the day. I can move 13 fleets maximum right now and often have 12 going at all times, with one saved for an emergency, should the need for me to bail out happens.
