LOL. Back when I first started playing OGame (uni26 this was), I remember the first time I was ever attacked... it was by about 25 battleships and 50 cruisers... I was just like wow... this guy must hack....
..and yes, I thought I had a moon when I first started playing, too. :s
When I started, I thought 2000 metal for the storage thing was outrageous. xD
I want another moon.
I want my first..... but somehow I can't make the fleet to do it. :(
If I get another one where I want it, and get the phalanx up to a level 7 on both, I'll be able to phalanx for about 200 systems straight.

And while it's my current goal, it will definitely take a while. Dorkbrains, it's a race! :p
Make sure you pick a planet close to the Sun for your run and have at least a level 3 nanite factory there, plus all necessary resources to do it. Get your energy tech up as well.

It will take me a looong time. I still have to get newer bigger colonies and decide where's a good place to put them. I made some colonies for the purpose of joining some people in ACS hits but none have happened yet, so, I may soon destroy them.

I just deleted 2 colonies. So now I'm down to 6 planets, 3 of which I'm still considering. My colonies were too far out where they either could not be protected or could not progress well. I'll take a steep drop in points but my setup would not allow me to really go forward, at least not quickly. Now to get better colonies that can actually make it up to be as useful as my main...
Finally... my esp tech 11 is done... now I can begin work on the true wonder... armour tech 14! :D

I'm researching Hyperspace 7 right now. I want to make a grav run within the next 60 days. Just need to build up a lot of nanites.
That makes me wonder, how many people have Deathstars in this uni?
im building nanite 3, ive made the decision, (Seeing as mid-terms will be over and ill have a three day weekend next weekend) that i will be going for nanite 4

Sorry man, I've been watching your fleet for a few weeks and you fleetsave all the time to that planet in the system next to me which is in a lot of peoples phalanx range. I didn't tip off Mr. G, he found you himself.
You have to be online a 15 minutes before your fleet arrives on a deploy fleetsave.
Oh well, thats how the game goes. I'll leave the battleships and work on my mines I guess since I wasn't really using them.
Well if you weren't attached to your fleet, I would have crashed it a month ago.....
How many systems is the phalanx's range?
It depends on the level you build it to. I can phalanx 25 systems in either direction. Here's the full build specs:

8 - 63
9 - 80
The attacker lost a total of 108.000 units.
The defender lost a total of 7.312.000 units.
At these space coordinates now float 1.524.300 metal and 568.500 crystal.
The chance for a moon to be created is 20 %
