The best PC game around! OK not really.
Hello I rarely come onto this part of the forum but I wanted to share something with people and after checking the rules it seems I am allowed to do so.

I am learning C++ (Isn't everyone?) and whilst only getting to the 3rd chapter of Beginning C++ Game Programming, I have some basic concepts of basic console coding. This has been adapted from many programs in the book, the main one being the actual game and another is an exercise.

So what is this game that I am going on about. Well it is one that is old but still loved it's... Guess My Number.

At the moment I have built version 1.5: In this version includes:

2 types of game, Let the computer guess you number and Guess the computers number.

A play again feature in the Guess the computer game (but that will loop the guess the computer game)

and thats about it. This is a special build with the inclusion of a line for proof that this is my own game.

i wish my computer science course did C++ but we do VB, and even though i could make that in like 5 minutes in VB, C++ is so much more powerful, and universal. great job though, its keeping me amused.

Thanks guys :D. I know if you play it, it says look out for version 1.6, but I am going to put that on hold, go further through the book and update the code (no doubt it will be easier for me and funner to play). I am sure many would agree if you saw the code, it is terriblely messy but it works for the moment :D. I can already see a use for for loops and strings, which I am on now :D
