psp camera opinion

do you think the chotto cam/go! cam for the psp is worth it if i already have a point and shoot 6.0 megapixel camera? it should save a lot of pocket space, but picture quality is sacrificed, so im in a bit of a rut. im historian for a youth group, so for that i will be using my point and shoot, but for everyday use, is it really worth sacrificing that extra pocket or bag space and incompatibility with most cases? people get by with their camera phones, so i guess this is not much of a jump from that. im starting to rant, so ill open it up to you guys. ;D

Well I recently got one, but if you already got a decent camera then don't buy it. It's a hassle putting attaching it on and off (imo) especially theres no case specifically for the psp w/ the camera attached. Now, if you already have a crappy camera then that would be a different story. The psp camera take very good pictures in natural light. but horrible in darkish light. Overall, the camera is worth it, especially if your going to record something daytime. But its up to you.

hmmm...well i saw some photos that claim to be taken with the psp cam and they looked pretty good. close up faces, and people in general werent the best, but scenery pics were actually really surprising to me. is there any more reason to get it? i know the filters and effects are pretty cool, but are there any homebrew apps that i can use?
