A word of caution: Lol, internets.

In this case, all you do is copy the data from a RAR file to the end of a GIF file. RAR unpackers look for the "Rar!" header at the beginning of a RAR file (which can be anywhere in the file), and the GIF contains information about how much data actually belongs to the image.

If you wanna do it yourself, use a hex editor :)

Original files are not touched when you use the copy /b command. You can extract the contents of the .rar file without any problem, but I don't think you can remove the rar file from the gif. It's not important anyway.

I just use huge.jpg to make people crash. Doesn't work too well if you use firefox and have over 1Gb of RAM, anything less and it messes everything up. Best part is, the jpeg file is only 1337 bytes.

Also it doesn't matter about the size of the 2 parts, just make sure it can be uploaded to one of your free image hosts e.g. attaching a 600Mb PSP ISO to a 30kb Gif cannot be hosted on ImageShack.
