Help me choose a camera please!!!

So I want to buy a digital camera but dont know much about what ones are good or crap.

The list of things I'm looking for are :
5 megapixel minimum,
Decent optical zoom,
Maximum price tag of £150,
Compatible with Windows,
Good sized screen.

So this is baisacally what I'm looking for, I'm pretty ameteur at taking photos but want a camera that is at least half decent.

I was thinking maybe one of the Sony Cybershot range?

Can someone tell me if they are worth it or not?

Or maybe the exilim card EX?

I actually prefer the ultra-compacts.

If you are really shopping around, go to www.cnet.com and read a review on that camera. I always consult that site before making any electronic purchases. You might be able to find something cheaper, with better specs as well.

Seriously though, if you are looking for someone to recommend you something, go to cnet. You can set a price range and get a list back of about 200 cameras that fit your range with reviews and video clips. It's much easier than asking on a forum for a particular unit.
