I've never tired it. I'm still at 7.0.
im still on CS1 and its fine for what i do!
What more do you get with cs1?

cs2 is a big enough ram wh*re. no need to upgrade to an even bigger ram wh*re

It's okay. Nothing big. Just some GUI changes. Like, oooh shiny silver toolbar...
Mostly, they just boosted performance and efficiency, like they do with every build, but not by much.
Well nothing I can use being I have 256mb of ram and Pentium III processer.

Wont that mean that they'll combine the good bits of fireworks into photoshop?
My PC has 32mb ram. So its a no go. But i have Portable Photoshop which is only 40mb and doesnt need installing. i can also put it on my MP3 player and use it on school computers.

I'm on 128mb RAM and CS2 runs fine. And BTW, once CS3 come out in Spring, your Beta will exprire. Forever. Thats why I'm styaing at CS2.

You don't update, it just makes a new installation...you keep your previous installation. And cs3 is SO MUCH BETTER than CS2. I love smart filters.
I'll just wait till spring.
